25 Grand Ave/Grand St (BK–QN)

6.92 mph baseline, weighted so busier routes count more (the pre-plan year)
7.52 mph on the corridor's own segments (segment-clipped baseline)
33 of 50 by baseline speed (1 = slowest)
23,556 weekday riders
Brooklyn and Queens borough

Segment clipping note: Q98 has no timepoint pair fully on this corridor, so segments touching it at one end stand in. Rule details on the methods page.

Routes on this corridor

RouteBaseline mph Riders/dayFull-run time (derived) Trend
Q59 6.69 5,153 64.8 min full run
Q58 6.76 12,899 86.6 min full run
Q98 7.52 5,504 62.1 min full run

Full-run time is derived: route length divided by average speed. Rider counts are fare-paid boardings, weekdays 7am–7pm, on tracked local routes. The plan's own rider figures count all riders, all day, so they run higher.

How this corridor was mapped to routes

The card names the Q59, Q58, and Q98 for Grand Avenue between Metropolitan Avenue and Queens Boulevard. The Q54's Grand Street stretch is in Williamsburg, west of the project, so it is excluded. (Verified July 11, 2026; corrections welcome.)
