5.21 mph baseline, weighted so busier routes count more (the pre-plan year)
−0.5% July 2026 vs July 2025 (5.29 to 5.26 mph). Pre-plan months on these routes swung −5.7% to +0.5%. Too soon to call.
7 of 50 by baseline speed (1 = slowest)
26,689 weekday riders

No segment-clipped baseline: the corridor is shorter than the roughly one-mile spacing between MTA timepoints, so no speed segment fits inside it. The route-level view is the score.

RouteBaseline mph Riders/dayFull-run time (derived) Trend
M103 4.98 6,683 95.2 min full run
M101 5.53 12,484 117.9 min full run
M102 4.87 7,522 97.6 min full run

Full-run time is derived: route length divided by average speed. Rider counts are fare-paid boardings, weekdays 7am–7pm, on tracked local routes. The plan's own rider figures count all riders, all day, so they run higher.

How this corridor was mapped to routes

The plan's card describes the 52nd-60th Street bus lane as serving eight routes without naming them. The tracked locals are the M101, M102, and M103; the M66 was excluded as a crossing. Scores are identical to corridor 13 until segment-clipped baselines are published. (Verified July 11, 2026; corrections welcome.)
