Measure NYC is one person's independent project. It has no ties to any agency, campaign, or employer, and takes no money from anyone it covers.

The city makes promises with numbers attached: 20% faster buses on 50 corridors, 12,000 free childcare seats by fall 2027. This site holds onto the number, sets a baseline before any results exist, and checks back when the data updates. The rules are on the methods page.

Corrections. If a number here is wrong, email hi@kirthi.studio. Every judgment call is documented on the page it affects, so you can point at the one you disagree with.

Updates. Bus speeds refresh monthly, about six weeks behind the MTA's data. There's an RSS feed.
