Routes on this corridor
| Route | Baseline mph | Riders/day | Full-run time (derived) | Trend |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| M42 | 4.67 | 7,240 | 27.5 min full run | |
| M50 | 4.51 | 1,862 | 32.4 min full run | |
| M57 | 4.4 | 5,229 | 39.7 min full run |
Full-run time is derived: route length divided by average speed. Rider counts are fare-paid boardings, weekdays 7am–7pm, on tracked local routes. The plan's own rider figures count all riders, all day, so they run higher.

How this corridor was mapped to routes
A future project no source has scoped to routes. The M42 and M50 are the crosstown routes inside the plan map's arrow, which spans West 57th/12th Avenue to East 42nd/1st Avenue; the M57 was added on July 11, 2026 because the arrow reaches 57th Street. This mapping is explicitly provisional until DOT scopes the project. (Verified July 11, 2026; corrections welcome.)
